Banjhakhri Waterfall is a picturesque natural wonder, where the water falls from a height of about 40 feet, is surrounded by beautifully landscapes gardens and statues of LyamLymay, Mangpas, Lepcha and Ban Jhakri ancestors. Banjhakhri, a man with supernatural abilities appears in Nepali folklore in Sikkim, is made up of two words, namely, 'Ban' means forest and 'Jhakhri' means traditional healer.
